St. Michaels has many members and one way of getting to know people, and encouraging a sense of belonging has been through the growing number of Home-groups. Many people have grown in faith as well as developing deeper friendships through the companionship, fun and bible study encountered in the different groups. They are a place of support for many and each group is unique. Our hope and prayer is that as many people who would like to be part of a group have the opportunity to do so.
Members of the St Michael's Community contribute to a Church's Together initiative in Royal Sutton Coldfield called Sutton Pastors. They are a team of like-minded individuls who believe in supporting their local community by providing a friendly Christian presence in the town centre on a Saturday night. They help revelers and townsfolk stay safe, hand out flip flops to anyone in need, and can be a listening ear to those who are looking for someone to share their troubles with. They are always looking for new recruits to volunteer.
